We are 35 and 37 year old married couple with a blended family of 5 kids. Life is always on fast forward and somewhere along the way we forgot how to take care of ourselves. We are also totally in love and making a change so we can be together for many years to come. This Dec Craig had a scary but eye opening Dr. visit and that was enough for us to choose to grow old TOGETHER!!

Craig and I overcame many obstacles to be together as a family and blending 5 kids together has been a journey of it own. Even though we have only been married a little under 4 years we have lived 3 life times in that short amount of time. Some of the life experiences we have had in the past 3 years are 2 babies born in 24 months, one baby in NICU, the death of my father at age 58 and most recently a life style changing visit to the Dr. for Craig. It is lonely losing a father; a part of you is always missing him. We just could not look our kids in the face and let them face the same fate because we are lazy. It is just not fair to them or us. Success is not an option for us it is the only option. We are simply put eating less, moving more and keeping it fun with you all. This process will take teamwork, from shopping together, eating together and playing... I mean exercising together. There is so much to learn and experience, we can't wait to see how much we are going to change. Winning the Biggest Loser Million Pound Match-Up would be the ultimate bonus to all the hard work we are going to be putting forth. Each day we commit to this new life makes us winners in our own right and the possibility that we could inspire someone else leaves us in awe. We have always given everything we had to our kids now we deserve to give ourselves the ultimate gift of more time together. When we achieve our goals of a healthy life style, watch out there will be no stopping us.

His weight changed..

Craig asked when he went into the Dr what he weighted on his visit and it was 231....so really since the begining of Dec Craig has lost 37 pounds....we are both creeeping up on 40 pounds. Time for a new Pic I think.

The new Results

Ever had a Dr. bounce into the room because he was so shocked by your results......Craig's Dr did! Everything was reversed...EVERYTHING. Craig was told what he did has only been done by less than 1% of his Dr's patients. No more liver damage, no more threats of life long meds, no more pre diabetic... Amazing what 6 months can do and we are still doing it....

Return to the DR.

Back in Dec Craig had his check up and we were told we needed to turn our lives around.....Monday is the check in day. We will get the results we have been working on for 5 months. I am nervous for him but I can't wait for the medical confirmation my husband will be around for alot longer!!

2 more pounds and a new pic!

When we both reach 35 pounds gone we will be taking a new progress pic... But for fun here are the stats.
Mashel:
Wearing a size 14/16 in pants and a XL in tops. I can now shop on ALL departments!!!!!!
Wedding ring is super loose.
Shoe size went down 1/2 size.
Skin looks good and feels good....my heels are not dry and cracked any more!
Teeth are whiter from not drinking Cokes and Tea all day.
No more boob stains on my shirts... girls you know what I mean!

Craig:
Wearing 36 and 34 in pants, he is also in a XL in shirts (it is a broad shoulder thing)
He is about to lose his wedding ring, it falls off all the time.
Teeth are whiter!
Had to buy and new belts and pants
No more belly fat! The gut has gone away.
Cant prop up his arms on his belly ( Thank God)

Okay we have to go to church now.... have a great SUNDAY!!

Craig Lower Blood Sugar, Raise My Good Cholesterol l Levels, Reach a Heathly BMI for 6'0", Exercise 5 days a week, Keep A Complete Food Journal and Lose 42 pounds.

Mashel My goal is to reach a healthy BMI for my height 5' 3", Exercise 5 days a week, Journal my food and Lose 92 pounds!!!
